- 300 g Farfalle pasta
- 300 g Ground beef
- 1 Sliced onion
- 2 Chopped garlic cloves
- 200 ml Fresh cream
- 100 g Grated Parmesan
- 250 ml Beef broth
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- Paprika (to taste)
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, add 300 g of farfalle pasta. Cook according to package instructions, usually between 8 to 10 minutes, until al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and sauté for about 3 minutes until translucent. Then, add the chopped garlic cloves and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn them.
- Add the 300 g of ground beef to the skillet. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring often, until browned. Ensure there are no traces of pink, indicating the beef is fully cooked.
- Once the beef is cooked, stir in 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and 250 ml of beef broth. Mix well and let simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld and intensify.
- Add 200 ml of fresh cream and 100 g of grated Parmesan to the skillet. Stir until a smooth and creamy sauce forms. Let simmer for another 2 minutes for the cheese to melt and slightly thicken the sauce.
- Incorporate the cooked farfalle pasta into the creamy beef sauce. Mix well to coat all the pasta. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika to taste. Stir again and let cook on low heat for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve hot in deep plates. For a touch of freshness, sprinkle with fresh basil before enjoying your creamy farfalle with beef!
