- 1 large wheel of Reblochon cheese (approximately 250g)
- 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 4 medium-sized Yukon Gold potatoes (about 800g)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes of about 2 to 3 cm. Rinse them under cold water to remove excess starch, which helps achieve a crispy texture. Drain well.
- In a large bowl, mix the potato cubes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until well coated for a nice golden color.
- Preheat your Air Fryer to 200°C (392°F) for about 5 minutes. This allows for quick and even cooking of the potatoes.
- Place the seasoned potatoes in the Air Fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15 minutes, shaking halfway through to prevent sticking.
- While the potatoes are cooking, finely chop the onion and garlic. In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add thyme, salt, and pepper, then remove from heat.
- Once the potatoes are cooked, remove them from the Air Fryer and mix them with the onion and garlic mixture. Cut the Reblochon in half horizontally. Place one half on top of the potatoes in the Air Fryer basket.
- Return the basket to the Air Fryer and cook at 200°C (392°F) for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
- Gently remove the basket, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for garnish, and serve immediately. The cheese should be gooey and the potatoes crispy.

Keywords: Avoid overcrowding the Air Fryer basket for even cooking. Choose a well-ripened Reblochon that holds its shape during cooking. Monitor the cheese closely to prevent burning. You can reduce the amount of olive oil or cheese for a lighter version, but this may affect the final taste.
