- 4 cups chicken broth

Instructions
- Rinse the white beans and soak them in water for at least 12 hours.
- In a cast iron pot, brown the Toulouse sausage and pork shoulder over medium heat. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté minced garlic and diced onion until translucent.
- Add soaked beans, browned meat, chicken broth, and thyme to the pot. Season to taste.
- Preheat oven to 320°F (160°C). Cover the pot with a lid or foil and bake for about 2 hours.
- Uncover during the last 30 minutes to allow the top to brown. Sprinkle breadcrumbs before baking until golden.
